The bodies of Roter Stern Berlin make sure that decisions are taken democratically, that the club remains able to act and that it develops together.
The bodies of the club are laid down in our statutes. They ensure that decisions are made democratically, tasks are carried out reliably and the development of the club is shaped together. Depending on their function, they are elected or appointed by the general assembly or within the respective areas of the club.
The general assembly is the club’s highest body. Here members decide on fundamental questions such as amendments to the statutes, electing the board and key decisions on the club’s development. It takes place at least once a year.
The board runs the club’s affairs and implements the decisions of the general assembly. It coordinates the work of the sports groups, makes organizational decisions and represents the club externally. The members of the board are elected by the general assembly.
The management takes care of the club’s day-to-day organizational and administrative tasks. It is appointed by the board and supports the practical implementation of projects, administration and club operations.
The council serves networking and cooperation between the sports groups, board and advisory board. At regular meetings, information is exchanged, joint projects are developed and topics important to the whole club are discussed.
The advisory board advises the board on important organizational, strategic and financial questions. It brings different perspectives from the club and can draw the board’s attention to developments or problems.

Our club thrives on voluntary commitment. Members get involved in sports groups, projects, working groups or club bodies and shape the club together. It works because many people contribute time, ideas and energy.
