As a member of the Berlin State Sports Federation (Landessportbund Berlin), our club is covered by its sports insurance. That means: anyone who trains, plays or volunteers with us has basic accident and liability cover during club activities – no separate application and no extra cost.

Framework agreement with Feuersozietät Berlin Brandenburg
At a glance
The Landessportbund Berlin has a framework agreement with the insurer Feuersozietät Berlin Brandenburg for all member clubs. The premium is included in the federation fee that our club pays.
Two things are covered: accidents that happen to you during club sport, and damage you cause to others.
Who is covered?
Cover applies to our members and to everyone active on behalf of the club.
When does it apply?
Benefits
Helps if you are injured during a club activity and suffer lasting effects. Benefits under the framework agreement (excerpt):
Applies if you cause damage to someone else during club sport – for example an injury in a tackle or damaged equipment in the gym.
The sports insurance only covers basic risks and does not replace private accident or liability insurance. Medical and treatment costs are still paid by your health insurance. Only the Landessportbund’s contract terms are binding.
Report a claim
Report quickly: the insurer must be informed no later than four weeks after the incident. The club submits the claim form – you just need to give us the details.
