Kiezsportbus

Sport right in the neighborhood

The Kiezsportbus brings sport and movement to the Soldiner Kiez: in the warmer months the team comes once a week to the calisthenics park at Soldiner Straße / corner of Koloniestraße – with gear for football, boxing, fitness and more. Kids and teens can join without signing up and help decide what happens.

The Kiezsportbus is funded through the project fund of the Soldiner Straße neighborhood management under the “Social Cohesion” program and run with partners such as casablanca gGmbH and Champions ohne Grenzen e.V. The idea comes from Marseille, from our partner Groupe addap13.

  • Free & no sign-up
  • Outreach in the Soldiner Kiez
  • Join in & have a say

Erasmus+

Learning across borders

Since 2022 Roter Stern Berlin has organized learning mobilities with Erasmus+ Sport: coaches, volunteers and staff shadow partner organizations in sport and youth social work – first in Marseille’s northern districts, and since 2026 also in Istanbul and Athens.

With our Erasmus+ Youth accreditation, youth exchanges are added too, such as the German-French exchange for young boxers with Boxing Club Kirakosyan in Toulon.

What we do

  • Job shadowing & visitsJoining our partners’ everyday training and project work.
  • Staff exchangeSharing methods, experience and ideas for neighborhood sports work.
  • Youth exchangesYoung people from different countries meet through sport.
