Our approach
Boxing as a community
Boxing with us is not about elbows. We train hard but fair – and make sure everyone in the gym feels safe.
People from very different backgrounds meet in this group. That is what makes training special: we learn from each other, correct each other and celebrate progress together.
Our principle
Solidarity, consideration for training partners and fun in sport. Sparring is controlled and only happens when both sides want it.
Self-organised
The sports group largely organises itself: with its own leads, a person responsible for finances and joint decisions on training, content and events.
Grassroots and competition
The sports group is grassroots. Anyone who wants to compete finds the right setting in our independent competitive boxing – organised by the boxing sports officer.
In the ring we compete. Outside it we stick together.
